Of course, you can limit it but then the download takes longer.
That isn't an issue for smaller games and apps but Gears of War 4 is well over 100 GB in size! That is several days of continuous downloading for me on my non-fibre connection and that means not restricted internet use elsewhere since Windows likes nothing more than to use every bit of internet bandwidth.
Seriously, this is the best that Microsoft can do in 2018? The Store offers no means to validate or repair games so you are at the mercy of their appallingly glitching download system whenever a game or app is patched. The game helpfully tells me that a file is corrupted and even the name of it but rather than redownload it, you know, like Steam, Origin or UPlay would do, I am instead directed to a support webpage that basically tells me to uninstall and reinstall the game!!! Well, it had to happen sooner or later but I've now experienced my first corrupted file in a UWP Windows Store game after the latest update downloaded and installed this morning.
